Discovery of Troy
 
 Greek Fleet was trying to find Helen in Mysia first. Greeks were under impression that she was taken by Teucrians. However, Teucrians denied all of the allegations and did not allow Greeks to inspect his city. Greek army still suspected him of Helen’s disappearance and laid a siege of his city Herodotus. This siege lasted a long time and many bloody battles were fought during this time. At the end Greeks prevailed but at a cost of many soldiers lives. In one of the buttels Telephus was wounded by Achilles. This wound will later play major role in the finding of Troy.

However, Helen was not there and Greek’s fleet had to return home without Helen. Telephus was treating his wound meanwhile without any success and Oracle told him that only Achilles could treat his wound. Achilles agreed but in exchange he also hot the information on the Troy location and that was the begging of another see campaign for Greek’s fleet.
